Department of General Surgery
The Department of general surgery, NRI Academy of sciences started functioning since the inception of the institution.
The Undergraduate students are taught basic surgical skills like suturing, knotting, venous cut down, catheterization, etc.
The Postgraduate students are trained in laparoscopic and advanced surgical skills which include peripheral vascular, endocrine and trauma surgery.
The teaching programme includes clinical discussions, seminars, tumor clinics, radiology seminars and morbidity & mortality conference in addition to regular theory classes and clinical demonstrations.
